Coco Jonquil L.Ac- Acupuncturist and Herbalist

Beverly Coco Jonquil has been a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist since 2011. She received a BA in Biological Psychology from New College of Florida and a MA of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine.  She believes good treatment begins in the patient/practitioner relationship, by cultivating feelings of trust and safety. The pleasure and challenge of her work is seeing through the apparent problem to treat the underlying cause, which allows multiple symptom complexes to resolve at once. Her toolbox includes TCM, Five Elements, Customized Herbal Medicine, Qi gong and Food Therapy. She enjoys studying classical acupuncture and herbal texts to better understand her craft while also staying abreast of pharmaceuticals, functional medicine and the greater medicinal landscape. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings (private practice, cruise lines, integrated clinics, non-profits) and helped thousands of clients with various conditions.  She is now the owner of The Spot Acupuncture and Herbs, located inside Amazing Births and Beyond, and specializes in women’s health, fertility, pregnancy, emotional and chronic pain management.  

She is licensed to practice acupuncture in Florida and is nationally acknowledged as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM.
